Metropolis Shopping Center needed a one-of-a-kind event for "black friday" that tied into pro football. Indianapolis is host to the Superbowl and fans needed to know where to get the official gear. We created "Eye Black Friday" where shoppers wearing eye-black could win gift cards up to $100 on the spot and have their photos uploaded on Facebook. On-site posters, print advertising and social media all worked together to make this a huge success. The number of Facebook fans quadrupled shortly after launching the inaugural event. The popular promotion returns to Metropolis during Super Bowl XLVI.
